the German Society for Extracellular Vesicles (gsev.org) is currently preparing an “Extracellular Vesicle” journal together with the Trillium publishing house (https://www.trillium.de/)
The journal will be a one-off special issue to introduce EV research to other disciplines and promote collaboration. We will send printed copies of the journal to all GSEV members, selected medical doctors, sponsors and other interested scientists. The release date will be 15 November 2019.
To foster the EV-connection within Europe, we would also offer each national society the opportunity to portray themselves.
If you were interested in doing so, please write one third to one half of an A4 page with:
- the name and foundation year of your society (please do not include numbers on members as the journal will distributed for at least two years)
- a mission statement and what sort of activities the society supports
- any initiatives and regular meetings held (without specific dates because they will be expired soon)
- web contact and email
I had already send around this email in August, but I wanted to give everyone the opportunity to contribute. There will be no publication fees associated with this offer.
The deadline for submitting these society overviews would be 7 October 2019.
