Abstracts

General Abstract Guidelines

You are kindly requested to carefully read the guidelines below before starting the abstract submission process for the 3rd EVIta Symposium 2023.
Our organizing committee maintains the right to reject any abstract that does not meet the requirements stated below.

The deadline for abstract submission is 30th April 2023, 23:59 Eastern Time.

Submissions received after this deadline will not be considered.

Abstract guidelines:
The main body of the abstract should not exceed 250words.
No Figures and no References should be included.

The following stylistic rules should be followed:

Title: Arial bold, 14 pts
Authors: Arial,12 pts
Affiliations: Arial, 10 pts
Abstract: Arial, 12 pts


Abstract must be submitted in one of the following categories:

  • EV Biology and Biogenesis
  • EVs in physiological processes
  • EVs in pathogenesis of diseases (Malignancies, Chronic, Cardiovascular, neurodegenerative diseases, etc.)
  • EVs as Biomarkers
  • EVs as Therapeutics
  • EVs and Inflammation/Immunity/Aging/Infection
  • EV isolation, characterization and engineering
  • Alternative EV sources (other than human sources)
  • Extracellular nanoparticles

Each abstract will be reviewed by three experts.
The submitter and presenting author will receive confirmation of acceptance for oral presentation or a notice of rejection, by the end of May, by e-mail.
The highest ranked abstracts will be selected for oral presentation.

Notifications of Regular Abstract Status

Authors of abstracts selected for oral presentation will be informed about the session and date of presentation, and presentation guidelines will be provided. 

Deadline for Withdrawal of Abstracts

Requests to withdraw abstracts will be accepted until August 30th, 2023. Withdrawals can be completed by sending an email to info@evitasociety.org.

Proceedings of the 3rd EVIta Symposium

The proceedings of the 3rd EVIta Symposium will be published in EVCNA as a special issue featuring abstracts presented during the event.

The issue is open to general research articles, reviews, commentary, opinions, or any other submissions not directly related to the Symposium.

All submitted papers will undergo a strict peer-review process.
